Psychotherapy

Therapy is a safe space in which, from a place of curiosity, we can approach and observe our current circumstances, our mood, and the thoughts associated with our suffering or difficulty from a position free of moral judgment.

It also helps us discover or rediscover our values, the meaning that guides our lives, or the new ways we would like to inhabit. This space allows us to delve deeper and become more aware of ourselves and the context that surrounds us.

I work with you from a respectful, warm and needs-centered perspective, always integrating brain function, emotion and behavior.

My priority is for you to understand what is happening to you and why, so that you can regain control of your life with clear, practical tools tailored to you.

How can I help you?

I work with people who experience:

  • Anxiety and prolonged stress
  • Low mood, sadness, or lack of motivation
  • Emotional dependency or difficulties in relationships
  • Problems with attention, memory, or concentration
  • Difficulty making decisions or organizing daily life
  • Insecurity, perfectionism, or excessive demands
  • Grief, life changes, and personal crises

Your process will always be personalized and designed with you.

Where you can find me:

- In person (Mairena del Aljarafe / Seville)

- Online Psychotherapy.

Duration: 50-55 minutes per session.

Frequency: Weekly or bi-weekly depending on needs.

My specialization in contextual therapies trained my eye to see the person within their context. As Ortega y Gasset said, "I am myself and my circumstances; if I do not save them, I cannot save myself." In other words, our well-being is the result of many factors. Both circumstantial and contextual factors, which we don't control, as well as our own resources and individual qualities, can explain how we feel.

Having the wisdom to know the circumstances we can change, the serenity to accept what we cannot change, and the courage to change what we can change is an exercise that deserves our time and attention.

The first sessions will be dedicated to evaluating and assessing the reason that brings you to therapy, or the roots and the type of soil on which we stand.

In addition, I usually suggest exercises to do outside of sessions to delve deeper into a topic or to generalize the benefits of therapy.

Therapy sessions are like sowing seeds, and watering and fertilizing these seeds outside of sessions will ensure growth.

What will you achieve in your process?

  • To understand you better and with less judgment
  • Regulating difficult emotions and reducing anxiety
  • Improve mental clarity and decision-making
  • Strengthening self-esteem and self-confidence
  • Set healthy boundaries
  • Regain energy, balance and well-being

It's not a quick process, but it is a profound and real change.
